The training program refers to people who spent lot of time in outdoor activities and those who working in the outdoor industry where the possibility of a life-threatening incident or illness has a big chance to happen.
Course participants will learn how to assess, treat, and when possible, prevent medical and traumatic emergencies within the scope of their training.
When the medical services are far away, or help is an hour or a day away the patient’s management challenge the first aid knowledge and skills in combination with the minimum equipment for treatment and evacuation which may have to be improvised.

During the training courses a number of extensive practical drills and evaluation assessments are in effect, based on progressive scenarios and depending on the level of difficulty .
WILDERNESS FIRST AID is hard, physically demanding course. Prospective students to the field classes must be capable of practicing in terrain and dense vegetation, during both daytime and nighttime exercises, in all types of weather, for several hours, while carrying various personal gear and team equipment that may weigh up to 25 kg. During the drills participants will assist in the carry-out of a patient which may weighs up to 100kg as part of a rotating 6-person team.
