Pediatric First Aid

Course info

The First aid program for children and infants is designed to appeal to both individuals as well as professionals involved in child rearing or caring. It complies with the standards set by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (ofsted GB) and is one of the most comprehensive training programs at an international level. Selectively, the training focuses on the use of the automatic external defibrillator. Participants are tuned to be able to recognize a wide variety of clinical findings, whether it is life-threatening or not, for the life of a child or an infant. The training focuses on Basic Life Support (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - CPR) and First Aid (dealing with common illnesses and injuries) concerning both age groups (infant, child). It is aimed at everyone who is interested to acquire knowledge of the techniques in dealing with emergencies involving children or infants. It is a most appropriate program suitable for kindergartens, parents, teachers, child care personnel, sports coaches and health professionals.

Who may enroll :

Anyone who wants to be able to responde in a Life Threatening Condition including children.
